I’m Andrea, an Italian food professional and the founder of Seletzioni.
My journey began in the world of bakery and artisan pizza, where I spent years refining techniques, studying fermentation, and developing a deep respect for craftsmanship. Bread, pizza in teglia, and pala romana have been more than a profession for me—they have been a way to express culture, precision, and creativity.
Over time, my path naturally evolved. After years of experience in the bakery world, I realised that my passion was not only in creating exceptional products, but also in discovering the people and ingredients behind true quality. This vision gave birth to Seletzioni, my food import business based in Copenhagen.
The roots of this project go back to my childhood, when I used to follow my father to his workplace. Those early memories taught me the value of dedication, authenticity, and respect for work well done. Today, that same philosophy guides my mission: to seek out small and medium-sized producers who respect the cycles of nature and prioritise quality over quantity, offering products of the highest quality to restaurants and gourmet shops.
My focus is on building bridges between outstanding Italian producers and professionals who want ingredients with a story, a soul, and uncompromising standards. Seletzioni stands at the meeting point of tradition, innovation, and product research. Whether through consultancy or ingredient sourcing, my goal remains the same: bringing excellence to the table.
